Founded in 1978 by Dr. M. Rothe, the Wartburg Symposium has convened every three years and is firmly established and internationally respected as one of the top symposia on flavor chemistry and biology. The organizers and the Wartburg Stiftung Eisenach would like to invite again experts in different areas of smell and taste research. Invited plenary lectures by expert researchers from academia and industry from around the world will introduce the main topics of the sessions.
The Symposium will be held from April 13-16, 2010, at the "Hotel on the Wartburg" in Eisenach, Germany. All scientific sessions including the poster exhibition will be in the hotel.
It will be possible to stay either in the "Hotel of the Wartburg" or in downtown hotels. Bus transport will be organized from downtown hotels to the Wartburg. The historical city of Eisenach is situated in the center of Germany about 100 km by train from either Frankfurt or Leipzig airport.
